Situación del Trabajo Doméstico en Honduras: Estudio de Percepción sobre el Trabajo Doméstico en Honduras

El presente estudio se enfocó en la recolección de posturas, conocimientos y comportamientos de miembros de la sociedad hondureña acerca del trabajo doméstico remunerado. Esto con el objetivo de conocer cuáles son los patrones culturales de pensamiento que deben abordarse en procesos de sensibilización que tengan como fin mejorar las condiciones de vida de las personas que se dedican al trabajo doméstico remunerado.

En el presente documento se rescatan los resultados encontrados como producto de la aplicación de 660 cuestionarios en las ciudades de Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba, Santa Rosa de Copán, Juticalpa y Choluteca el primer semestre del año 2018. Read More...

Los altos indicadores con tendencia al descenso estimados por el Estudio de HOGASA, aunque no homogéneos, ni globales ratifican la persistencia de la exclusión social que sufre el corredor seco; en Lempira e Intibucá casi la mitad de los niños y niñas presentan desnutrición crónica, con una situación de deterioro en ascenso en La Paz, requiriéndose intervenciones integrales hacia las causas estructurales de la desnutrición infantil3 focalizando las poblaciones, con perspectivas de ciclo de vida, pobreza y acceso a servicios de salud, con transversalizacion por género. The Power to Lead Alliance (PTLA): Empowering Girls to Learn and Lead Final Evaluation

This 73-page final report on the Power to Lead Alliance (PTLA) was funded by USAID for implementation in six countries: Egypt, Honduras, India, Malawi, Tanzania, and Yemen over the course of three years. The project, which began in September 2008 and ended in September 2011, focused on 10- to 14-year-old girls as the target population. The primary goal of PTLA was to promote girl leaders in vulnerable communities. Three objectives were formulated to address this goal:

Objective 1: Cultivate opportunities for girls to practice their leadership skills
Objective 2: Create partnerships to promote girls’ leadership
