It reveals limited technological adoption, weak producer associations, and significant gender disparities in roles, leadership, and financial access. The report notes inadequate infrastructure, low productivity, and dependency on traditional practices like open grazing. Women play a vital role in goat rearing and cheese production but face unequal access to training and economic resources. Recommendations emphasize integrated interventions, better sanitation and marketing practices, and gender-inclusive capacity-building to strengthen the value chain.
