Resilient Livelihoods for the Poor (RLP) Baseline Report Cohort 1
RLP is a pilot initiative that seeks to roll out a poverty alleviation strategy at the household level in two equal recruitment phases bringing in a total of 1,200 extreme poor households. The first recruitment phase or “cohort” was originally programmed to occur in late 2014 but was held-up until mid-2015 due to the absence of signed MU at the SPSL and IP levels. Cohort 2 is to recruit a further 600 households and will follow relatively rapidly behind the first cohort, meaning that the delays experienced with the first cohort, will be considerably reduced with the second recruitment of extreme poor households to RLP.1 Most second cohort recipients will come from the current three districts, although CARE will complete its approximate 200 recipient households in the new district of Moulapamok. RLP has three major series of activities providing: 1. Funds for the purchase of income generating assets; 2. An asset supporting monthly allowance (stipend) that should enable newly acquired and valuable assets to be properly cared for; 3. Training and mentoring by village level facilitators, working for the three IPs, in the care of those assets and the development of micro-enterprises based on the assets and the skills acquired. Atmanirbhar Project Impact Assessment Report
Implemented between December, 2014 to February 2017 with three months no cost extension, the project targeted newly married adolescent girls and women, women from ethnic and religious minority (Muslim women), groups and poorest strata of women of upper castes in the project VDCs Chhotkiramnagar, Rayapur, Semara, Thu. Pipaharahawa, Maryadpur, Bairghat, Ekala and Tenuhawa. The VDCs are located in mid-western and southern (Murchwar area) part of Rupandehi district. Atamnirbhar project focused to entrepreneurships skills development of women which has economically empowered to women and supported for the institutionalization of the seven cooperatives in project VDCs. These Women Agriculture Cooperatives are directed towards creating the sustainable rural employment, too. The main objective of the project was to make 1500 women members in 8 different women led saving & credit cooperatives and to create enabling-business environment to start up high growth potential women friendly micro business. It had of which 600 will be capable to run their own micro entrepreneurs.

Good Growth Project Baseline Report
CARE International in Ghana sought to collect information on the background sociodemographic characteristics and nutritional status of children 0-24 mo of age in selected communities in the East Mamprusi District of the Northern Region, where the organization intended to implement its Good Growth Project with the view to improving health and nutrition of children in the district.

Women for Women Project Baseline Survey

GRAD Project Final Performance Evaluation
The performance evaluation of Graduation with Resilience to Achieve Sustainable Development (GRAD) Activity assessed the activity’s results at higher and intermediate levels, the extent to which the activity met its goals, the overall effectiveness of partnerships and identified the strengths and challenges in implementation. Six evaluation questions were investigated to assess the: (1) Technical areas of GRAD, which have and have not exhibited sizable results; (2) Extent of beneficiary households’ asset and income changes over the life-of-the activity; (3) Extent of households’ resiliency improvement during periods of shock; (4) Level of GRAD partners’ influence in the beneficiary households’ graduation process; (5) Extent of the activity’s contribution to gender equity and women empowerment; and (6) Effectiveness of GRAD’s collaboration/complementarity with other feed the future activities. Youth Employment Project in Aswan (YEP) Midterm Evaluation
118-page midterm report on the “Youth employment in Aswan project” (YEP) which was funded by Swiss program under domain 2 was proposed by CARE and WorldFish (WF) in response to a call for proposal. According to the approved proposal, CARE and WF believed that despite the moment of transition and crisis in Egypt, during the post-2011 revolution period, there are also tremendous opportunities for increased income and employment for youth in the agricultural sector (defined in its broadest sense to encompass farming, animal production and fisheries). Accordingly, the goal of the program was that there will be increased and sustainable income and employment for disadvantaged youth, women and men in Aswan. Hayat Project Endline Survey
76-page report on end-line data on member households from a sample of 316 women in the five targeted communities of the project. The targeted villages are located in Menia governorate, managing the stages of data-entry, data-analysis and reporting the Hayat end-line survey and comparing the results of end line with the baseline survey (20 VSLA groups around 316 respondents) to measure the impact of the project regarding women’s empowerment.
